While freelancing as a designer and production designer for DK (Penguin Random House), I had the opportunity to design a recipe card for Kari: Reimagined Plant-Based Indian Recipes by Sheil Shukla. Working closely with the project manager and the author, I transformed the book’s cover jacket into a recipe card that stayed on brand, and prepared it for print production.
The card was used by the author at a promotional event for the book. I used various design software, including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, to bring the recipe card to life. The project manager provided references from previous recipe cards along with the specifications to ensure consistency and brand alignment.
