Project: Holiday E-Card for Attention Seeker by Darcy Michael
Commissioned to create a festive, printable e-card for comedian Darcy Michael’s book,
I was tasked with developing a seasonal concept that felt winter-themed without being explicitly Christmas-centric.

Creative Challenge & Process:
The concept centered on placing the author—using his signature reclining pose from
the book cover—into a cozy, AI-generated fireplace scene. I utilized Adobe Firefly for rapid ideation and initial asset generation, then brought the vision to life in Adobe Photoshop. Through advanced compositing techniques, including warp, perspective, and distortion tools, I seamlessly integrated the author into the environment. I refined the image with custom lighting, shadows, and highlights for realism,
and Photoshopped the author’s hands to hold his book.

Design & Production:
Once the composite was finalized, I built the print-ready e-card in Adobe InDesign.
The layout adhered to the book’s brand guidelines, using its official color palette and typography. As the production designer, I prepared the final 8.5” x 11” file with proper bleed and crop marks to ensure high-quality printing.

Result:
The final holiday card was warmly received by both the client and the author. This project successfully highlighted my integrated skills in AI-assisted conceptualization, advanced photo compositing, and meticulous print production.
